Laudum Roble
Organic wine aged for 4 months in fine-grained French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels. Made from old Monastrell vines over 40 years old and 15-year-old Syrah, traditionally cultivated in the Alicante regions of the Middle and Upper Vinalopó river.
Laudum Roble is a red wine whose packaging emphasizes the Latin heritage of the Roman origin of the Laudum brand. The bottle is the focal point, designed in the shape of a classical column. This bottle was exclusively designed for the Laudum brand from Bodegas Bocopa and won the 2016 World Design Award at “The Dieline Awards” in Atlanta, USA.
Tasting Note
Appearance: Intense cherry red colour with violet hues.
Nose: Deep aromas with distinct notes of violets, surrounded by a background of ripe black fruits, spices, and balsamic touches. After gentle aeration in the glass, its complexity increases, revealing subtle hints of dates, figs, pastry, and Mediterranean scrubland.
Palate: On the palate, it is structured and extremely fruity. Its mature tannins provide a velvety texture and ensure a long life to this wine. A very long finish leaves the palate with spicy, balsamic, and mineral notes.
