Alicante Bouschet 2019
Alicante Bouschet is a red wine aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, made with the Monastrell and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties (also known as Garnacha Tintorera).
Made using grapes sourced from multiple vineyards in the villages of the Mid-Vinalopó Valley, nestled between the Salinas, Umbria, and Sima mountain ranges.
Appearance: Intense cherry colour with a very high concentration and vivid red tones.
Nose: On the nose, it’s a complex and interesting wine, with prominent mineral notes and very ripe black and red fruits, along with pleasant hints of new wood.
Palate: On the palate, it’s broad, powerful, dense, and mature, with balanced acidity and a silky texture. It surprises with a unique touch of sweetness and a long, lingering finish.
